Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

Fordy's the lesion will persist for months, looks as if grouped follicles at a place with the skin or mucus membrane color.
Herpes will be a self limiting condition appear as vesicles and then tiny grouped ulcers and will heal spontaneously within a week or two and may be painful.
Your condition is probably related to your psoriasis only.
If you could upload the pictures of the lesion a better opinion may be able to be given.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
