Hello,
Xanthelesma presents as white or yellowish white patches involving the skin above or below the eye lids. It is usually slow growing and sometimes associated with altered or abnormal lipid profile.
However xanthelesma will not cause symptoms of the eye as mentioned by you in the history.

Since you also suffer from hyperthyroidism, I advice you to consult eye doctor for examination and to rule out thyroid associated eye disease.

Thank you
