White Blood Cell High In Blood Work While Having Sinus Infection. Should I Get It Rechecked After Recovery?
I went for my yearly physical a couple weeks ago, and my doctor did bloodwork. They called and asked me to come in and have it done again as my white blood cell count was high. Can I have it rechecked while I have a sinus infection, or do I have to wait until it clears up?

Any infection and inflammation in the body gives rise to increase in wbc count.
It might be due to sinus infection.
Inform your doctor and start treatment for sinus infection under guidance of your family physician.
It is better to go for repeat investigation at least after 5 days of antibiotic course.
