Which Is The Chemotherapy Required To Control Metastatic Tumor?

Hi, I am shailesh patel my brother had chondroblastic osteo sarcoma in right hand, so doctor remove tumor by surgery and take 6 cycle chemotherapy, but after 5 years later he has a tumor in one lung, so doctor done surgery and remove tumor,so please tell me which chemotherapy is req. to control metastatic tumor in future?

There are many types of chemotherapy, so he needs to see an oncologist to determine exactly what type of chemotherapy should be prescribed. It depends specifically on the nature of the tumor excised. The location in the lungs may suggest a different type of chemotherapy than what he had before. It's also been 5 years, so there may be additional treatments that have become available. Perhaps even radiation treatments may be helpful. He needs to get seen by an oncologist to suggest the best treatments that are appropriate to him. Hope this helps.
