Which Is The Best Anti-dandruff Shampoo For Scalp Itching?

hi doctor ... i am 25 years old(female) suffering from lot of dandruff and itching from 2 years with hairfall. i consulted dermatologist and used triclenz shampoo and togain lotion 2% having minoxidil content. no results and dandruff has increased more. please suggest a good antidandruff shampoo for me

I understand your concern. Dandruff is the common problem seen in many people of your age. It is due to fungal growth on the scalp. Anti fungal shampoos help in control of dandruff.

Some shampoos do not show effect on some people.You can try shampoo named "8x" (contain antifungal agent called ciclopirox) which may work better for you. You can continue using minoxidil.

It is important to apply the shampoo for scalp and let it stay for 10 mins to get the drug to act on fungus. It is true for any anti dandruff shampoo.
