Which Is Best Melacare Forte Or Melacre For Making The Skin Fair?

Hai doctor, my skin complextion is wheatish and the dark pigmentation in under eye, upper and under lips etc....i would like to fair.. without any side effects. today i heard about the Melacare cream , so can i use it,,,,? Melacare forte or Melacre which one can i use, pls reply doctor

Hi,

I can understand your concern and after reading the query it appears that you want to use the above mentioned cream.

Melacare contains hydroquinone, steroid and tretinoin. The cream is good but shouldn't be used without a dermatologist's prescription. On its prolonged use it can cause thinning skin with red irritated skin or even hair growth.

I suggest you to use proper sun protection. You can use Azelaic acid or Kojic acid creams under dermatological guidance only. These can be used for a long period without any side effects. This may take few weeks of the time to resolve your problem so have patience.
