Which Cooking Oil Is Healthy For A Person Suffering With Seizures?

Hello doctor,

We just find out that our 9 year old who has seizure since birth has mcad. We would like to know if its ok if he takes his usual supplement dha syrup, b12, calcium 1000mg. Also what kind of cooking oil would be beneficial for his food?

Dear friend, greetings form HCM. i understand your question. you need to use a oil rich in poly unsaturated fatty acids and mono unsaturated fatty acids. rice bran oil, corn oil, olive oil all are good. as such you are giving him all the good supplements and are neuroprotective .
