Short term, during the act, since heart rate goes up, blood pressure would go up to. Long term effects: A study has shown that a test group which only had intercourse experienced, as a whole, lower blood pressure in stressful situations than those who had intercourse but also had masturbated for one or more days. Since the variable between the two groups was masturbation, it increases blood pressure in the long term too.
