Where Is Pleuroblastoma Located In The Head?

I was informed by a radiology nurse the CT of my head revealed a 1cm meningioma which she called a plioblastnoma located in the anterior left parafalcine region. Where is this located? I have had a headache in the back of my head behind my ear for weeks.

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

The CT has probably identified a meningioma, which is a tumor of the meninges located between the two cerebral hemispheres, originating from a structure which lies between these structures called falx cerebri which is basically a meningeous double layer. The term that the nurse used is not correct anyway.

The headache you are experiencing is not related to the meningioma . Unless you have any symptoms related to the region or dimension growth I would not opt for surgery, but you can consult your gp for radiosurgery option.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
