If bowels are not making thier way out inspite of taking laxatives, then you will need an enema. This points to a probable aerious medical problem. Meet a surgeon.

Hello.Welcome to HCM forum.Longer the stool stays in colon and rectum, more will be the constipation as water in the stool gets absorbed and resultant stool becomes rock solid.Sometimes even only enema doesn't help as you have to manually break the fecoliths and remove it.Better go to the hospital and get enema.Never let constipation to develop by taking plenty of water and taking plenty of fiber in your diet.Take isabgol husk while traveling twice daily
