When Will The Milk Secretion From Breast Stop Considering The Fact That I Had Abortion 3 Weeks Ago?
hi, I had gotten an abortion at 22 weeks pregnant about 3 weeks ago. my breasts have been leaking with milk very much since then. at night the milk soaks my entire shirt and they leak when I touch them. I tried squeezing milk a week ago frequently not knowing that I shouldn't. how long will it last and what can I do to stop it?

Mild milk secretion from breast is quite physiological after abortion and it stops within 4 to 6 weeks in most women when blood prolactin level becomes normal.
Cabergoline group of drug can be given to suppress milk secretion if it is excessive enough. Kindly, consult with your gynecologist for prescription.
