When Will I Get My Sense Of Taste After Tonsillectomy?

hi, i had tonsillectomy 10 days ago and the tip of my tongue is still numb.. this is very frustrating because my sense of taste and smell are disrupted already and still i feel numbness and tingling at the tip of my tongue.. is this because of the clamp they use in the operatiing room to hold the tongue and keep it away from the operative site?
