When Should A Pregnancy Test Be Done After An Intercourse?
Hi Dr XXXXXX, this may sound ODD but myself and my partner are trying to have a baby, we had sex on the sunday 9th and 14th and 15th of this month I'm not sure when I should do a pregnancy test or if I should just wait and see if my period comes or not.

Pregnancy test should be done with morning urine sample soon after missed period. More accurate result (99%) is achieved 7 days after missed period.
However, blood test for beta-hCG is more reliable to confirm pregnancy in early weeks. It can be done 10 days after ovulation.
