When Should Lisinopril Be Taken To Be More Alert During The Day?
Hi Doctor, I have been taking Lisinopril for several years now. Many of my meds cause drowsiness etc. Is there a time of day when I should be taking this med. Could I possibly take at night in order to sleep it off during the night in hopes of making me more alert during the day?

Hi. Welcome to HCM. Lisinopril is prescribed for Hypertension (high BP). I dont know what other medications u are taking. But there is no harm in taking lisinopril during night. Usually it wont cause drowsiness. This drowsiness may be side effect of other drugs which u r taking. If u have cough after taking lisinopril then consult your doctor. Wish u a good health
