When Do I Insert Copper T And Is It Safe?

i delivered my baby boy on 29th of oct. i.e. 2 and a half months back.... still ,me and my husband hv not made love... so which is the best time to insert copper t.... after my 1st periods or any time????
my age is 32 and this is my 1st kid... is copper t safe???? which is the best one??/

It is best to abstain from sex for 6 weeks after childbirth.
You can have the Copper T inserted straight after birth.
you can alternatively have it inserted 6 weeks after childbirth, irrespective of whether your period resumes or not.
It is quite safe.
Many women now prefer Multiload which avoids side effects of copper T and has hormonal content.
