When Can Heavy Things Be Lifted After Appendix Removal Operation?
my appendix removed last December 2010,and now I'm applying as an atm technician where my one of my responsibilities is to carry money in one case and that is heavy according to interviewer? my questions are, When would the exact time for me to carry a heavy things like one box of heavy money?you are a doctor,would you allow me to carry heavy things because it's been nine months ago since my doctor's removed my appendix?thank You
Hi. Thanks for your query. It is already 9 months post -surgery. You can practically do every activity you want, if there is no incision hernia or so. There should not be any problem. Of course do not start heavy activities on day one. Gradually resume to the maximum heavy work you can / your body allows.
