What would happen to a non-diabetic if injected with insulin ?

The person who got injected would probably die...  as their blood sugar level would go too low, their brain will not get sugar (which gives it energy to live and work) they will go into a coma and then they will die (unless treated).Insulin is a hormone with intensive effects on both metabolism and many other body systems. Insulin causes the body's cells to take up glucose from the blood, storing it as glycogen in the liver and muscle, and stops use of fat as an energy source.
