What Would Be The Reason For Bloating, Abdominal Pain And Brownish Discharge From Vagina?

Hell doctor. I have been on Depo Provera for about 8 months now. I stopped having my period after my second shot. Recently, I have engaged in sexual intercourse without a condom, and I have been noticing that I ve been bloating like crazy for the past few weeks now. I am also experiencing minor lower abdomin pains and I ve been discharging from my vagina a brownish-black mucous like substance. Could I be pregnant, even when im no longer having periods?

hi,depot provera is a very effective method of contraception.its very common to see absent periods in patients who are on on depot shots.and bloating can also be explained due to the hormones so it is not a sign of pregnancy.but still to be sure you can confirm with a commercially available urine pregnancy test which are highly sensitive and available on the counter.take care and all the best.
