What Treatment To Be Taken For Swollen Tonsil?

I have one swollen tonsil. They both look pretty bumpy and unhealthy at the top, but then again I'm not really sure what they should look like. On the swollen one, there's a tiny white dot and I can see a larger white area just at the back/behind the tonsil. My throat also looks very lumpy and fleshy rather than smooth, and is quite painful on that side and feels like something is lodged in the top of my throat. I also have tiny ulcer looking things at the back, on the roof of my mouth. They're not painful, but a little concerning.
Just tonsilitis??

I have gone through your query regarding enlarged tonsils with white spots over it . It is quite painful.

Your medical history indicates that most probably you are having Chronic tonsillitis with sepsis ( Chronic follicular tonsillitis). You may try for coservative treatment in the form of antibiotic, anti inflammatory and warm saline gargling. You may get temporary relief but curative treatment is only surgery (tonslectomy).

Don't be disharted, avoidance of surgery may invite some complications like-

1- Quincy.

2- Rheumatic fever.

3- Poor oral heygine causing dyspepsia.
