Shortness of breath accompanied by fast heart rate suggests a possibility of heart disease. It need not be heart disease always. It could be due to anemia as well.
However it is important that you consult a Physician and get a detailed examination and investigation done to find out the cause for this problem. Once a diagnosis is made then you could be treated accordingly.
