What Treatment Is Suggested To Reduce Lump On The Leg?

I had a hard impact on the front of my leg last Sunday and it left a very large lump and big and dark bruise. There is no pain anymore, I am able to function properly and the bruise looks as though it's fading. I just concerned about the lump. What is it?

Hello,
It is my pleasure to help you,
I have reviewed your history the large lump you had following the hard impact may be due internal bleeding.
Bleeding is the one of the most serious consequences of trauma.Internal bleeding may occur after any significant physical injury.
Some internal bleeding due to trauma stops on its own.
Mild contusions do not need medical attention.
As you had hard impact and a lump I would have suggetsed
1.Ice packs should be applied to the injury
2.Elevate the affected limb also helps to relieve discomfort.
3.The affected limb should be rested for a few days.
4. A compression bandage may help reduce swelling.
5. Application of hot packs may help speed reabsorption of the blood.
6. For pain you can take some analgesics after taking prescription from your
treating doctor.
Hope I have cleared your doubts.Happy to answer your query.
Thank you
