What Treatment Is Suggested For Heartburn?

I have been suffering with extremely painful heartburn for nearly a week now. I have the pain all day and it flares up at certain times in the day. Anything and everything I eat or drink has an affect on me.
I started taking dianette nearly 3 weeks ago for the treatment of acne.
Could this be the trigger to my acid reflux symptoms?

Less likely from the drug…
need to exclude ulcer...
See an Internist / get yourself examined / investigation - particularly endoscopy may be necessary...
Over The Counter (OTC) Proton pump inhibitor like omeprazole / pro-kinetic agent like Domperidone / antacid like magaldrate - will be useful in the meanwhile...
Prognosis is generally excellent in such situations…
