What Treatment Can I Give To My 5 Years Old Son Who Has CRP Of 43 ?
My Son 5 years and 4 months old is suffering from fever , throat infetion and swelling in his neck. he is having fever for the past 6 days. Taken blood test which says the CRP is 43. we are giving Ibugesic plus which is ibuprofen and paracetamol suspension for the past 2 days but still not recovered. can help ?

Dear friend,when ever fever with throat pain,is either could be bacterial infection or viral infection,it seems in your case bacterial infection,pl do his CBC and ESR,start giving anti biotic with anlgesic antipyretic as wel anti i nflametory.further more you can contect me on my cell ie 9426557610 with regards DR subhas Agravat.

Blood CRP being positive , likely suggests a bacterial infection and so needs an antibiotic.
Can use Syr Amoxiclav , does adjusted to his weight, for a week.
Continue ibugesic plus in appropriate doses till he has fever and can also use salt water gargling , to sooth his throat.
