Rheumatologist 's  Response
Hello sir, You are one among the many who are suffering from this problem ,post chikungunya. This arthritis is known to persist for as long as 2-3 years post infection. There have been many recommendations regarding the treatment for this particular problem. Many doctors prefer a low dose steroid with Hydroxychloroquine as a supplement.Chikungunya has been know to trigger many inflammatory arthritis, so you need to visit a general physician or even better a rheumatologist to get a proper evaluation done.
If you are from kerala i can suggest some good centres where you can get yourself evaluated.kindly let me know.
Hope you find my answer useful.Take care.
