What To Do For Weight Loss?

My endocrinologist has diagnosed me as borderline diabetic and wants me to lose weight. I ve always had weight issues despite diet and exercise. I am 5 1 , 157lb., and age 50. I am hypothyroid on 15mg Synthroid daily, (2 on Sat.), and am also on Citalopram, 20mg daily for depression. She put me on Qsymia, which I had a major reaction to on the 2nd day of dangerously high blood pressure so, stopped. She would like me to try Belviq next. I now see that both shouldn t be used with Citalopram. Any suggestions?
