What To Do For Vomiting, Diarrhoea And Now Having Non-itching Rashes On Hands, Fingers, Chest?

My son has has bouts of vomiting and diarrhea since the 12th of December.
Thought it was stomach bug. It lasted 4 days, he was better for 2 then it started all over again. Dr prescribed Zantac. Worked for a couple of days, then began all over again. He's been fine yesterday and today, but developed and non-itchy rash on the back of his hands and fingers and on his chest.
Throughout the vomiting and Diarrhea, he was given phenergen and lomotil.
