What To Do For The Severe Back Pain During Old Age?
i am 60yr old male having history of backache from 3ree wks rediating to right leg and numness weekness also pressent. my MRI shows diffuse centeral right paracenteral disc protrusion at l4 l5 causing centero lateral stenosis with more compression upon right sided neural tissue. tell me non surgical treatment
Hi, Thanks for your query. As per your post, you are suffering from chronic backache. It may be due to degenerative spine disease (lumbar spondylosis) with compressive neuropathy as it is common in your age. MRI of spine shows degenerative disc disease with spinal stenosis. You want to non operative treatment. This is usually a slowly progressing condition and there is treatment available in form of back exercises, Diacerine, glucosamine sulfate ,neurotropics such as methylcobalamin and analgesics.You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
