What To Do For The Bumps On The Back Of A Child?

Hi, my 10 month old has gotten a bunch of red bumps on his back, sides, nape of his neck, legs, and arms. At first, I though it was bug bites when we traveled out of town for the holidays but these bumps have started to spread and continue to show up since we've been back home. I have not made any major changes in detergent or foods. What can they be? Could they be an allergic reaction to something?

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

They are more likely to be impetigo which is bacterial infection of skin appendages. Possibility of heat rash also needs to be considered.
In the absence of fever and other systemic signs there is no cause for concern.
Exact diagnosis will depend on clinical examination.
Would suggest you to consult your Pediatrician.

Take care

Best regards
Dr Deepak
