What To Do For The Blurred Vision When Having Cataract?

Hello. I am a 35 year old female with deteriorating eyesight, also having cataracts. I do see an opthlmologist in Escanaba, MI. Dr. Kohli. He has talked with me in the past about a surgery of taking the lenses out of my eyes. I am trying to do as much research as I can before my annual appointment a week from tomorrow. I am at my wits end. I am young, I get headaches, pressure in my eye, cannot go outside on a bright day with out my Oakley sunglasses because my eyes are so sensitive. I have blurred vision. I wear cheaters along with my contacts. Please help. I am no doctor but it seems like my doctor is not helping me fix or cure my problem. Do you know of other possible procedures? Locations? excellent doctors? My husband, parents, and I are willing to travel. Please help. Thank You.

Hi,
Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen many cases with similar complaints. Please find my advice below-:
1)As per your history indicated you need cataract surgery it is a minor procedure only local anesthesia will be used and prognosis is very nice, there is no other alternative except surgery. It is an outpatient procedure.

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.
Wishing you all the best.
Thanks,
I find this answer helpful
