What To Do For Pain Under Right Breast While Eat And Drink?
I have pain under my right breast and the only time it hurts is when I eat and drink. I have been on a lot of medicine because I have misplaced cartilage in my chest. Could the medicine be caught in my esophogas? If that could be the case what do I do to get it out of there?
Thanks for your question on HCM. I can understand your situation and problem. In my opinion you are having GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) mostly. Right sided pain after eating is seen in GERD. And the drugs you are taking for cartilage (painkillers) can also cause GERD. It is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter. Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause the symptoms. So try to follow these steps for better symptomatic relief. 1. Avoid stress and anxiety. 2. Avoid hot and spicy food. 3. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals. 4. Start proton pump inhibitor. 5. Go for walk after melas. 6. Avoid unnecessary use of painkillers .
