The potassium losses you are experiencing might be related to the medicine you take for blood pressure control. Good sources of potassium in the diet include green leafy vegetables, mushrooms, avocados, white beans, and bananas. Please be sure to bring up your concerns about potassium loss with your physician and discuss the severity of potassium loss because taking in too much potassium can have effects on the heart and other organ systems.
