Hello,

Welcome to the forum.

I can comprehend your concern for the present situation.

After reading your query it appears that you have developed herpes zoster or also commonly known as shingles.

Your doctor has given you a very good treatment and can be followed for the proper time so that the pain part and post sequel can be reduced at best. Azithromycin, valacyclovir, combiflam andocevin cream are one of the best drugs to take care of shingles.

For the mean time you can apply a cream containing gentamycin and give any pain killer tablet for immediate relief.

Hope this information will help you.

My best wishes for good health.
