my son is 2 years old he has hand foot and mouth desese he ant drank since yesterday morning he want eat or drink n doc says he gettin dehidrated n mite need to go on a drip when do i no to take him ??

if you find some signs like-
Dryness of the mouth
Shrunken eyes
if he does not urinate at least once in the span of twelve hours
dark urine
Dry skin
Skin abnormally cool to the touch
Fatigue
Lethargy
Dizziness
then contact your doctor immediately.
Fluid intake should be enough to prevent dehydration (lack of body fluids). If moderate-to-severe dehydration develops, it can be treated medically by giving fluids through the veins.
