u have been diagnosed as OCD..u have not described your symptoms in detail..so considering the confirm diagnosis of OCD, i am answering the question...
i feel that u are at present off the meds and controlling your
anxiety with yoga and
meditation...it is very good strategy and technique to avoid drugs for long duration..
if u feel tha your OCD is making troubles for u then u shud start medications..with yoga and meditation it wont improve..
OCD can be treated with
psychotherapy and with drugs..when a patient has severe symptoms, he or she shud take help from drugs and when symptoms have been controlled then one can go under the cognitive behavior therapy, exposure and response prevention and other psychotherapies....these will help u to remian free from symptoms for long duration without drugs..
in my opinion, first start drugs [i will mention here] and after 2 to 3 weeks consult a psychotherapist for
counselling and
behavioral therapies..
drugs:
tablet. prodep [
fluoxetine 20 mg] in the morning after breakfast. the benefits will be seen only after 2 weeks of continuous usage of the medication..increase the dose to 40 mg after 15 days and then to 60 mg after another 15 days...u ll find 75% benefit in your symptoms within 3 months of starting the treatment and the benefit will be sustained with the help of psychotherapy and counselling..
avoid alcohol and addictive drugs..
go for regular exercise like walking, jogging 5 days a week..
continue yoga and meditation..in severe anxiety u can try
relaxation therapy to calm and help your self..
