What To Do For A Strong Taste After Breathing Fumes Of Clorox Bleach?

I used clorox bleach to clean the garage floor. I poured 1/2 bottle out and the fumes overcame me. I felt a little

light headed so went outside for fresh air. I can taste a strong taste in my mouth and when I breathe...I still have

a strong smell. what should I do?

Hi thanks for contacting us....

According to your history here you have chemical injury to respiratory tract....
Mostly it will be bronchitis....
Chest x ray done for it....

Here by respiratory irritation you could have inflammatory swelling....
Short term antihistaminic or steroid needed ...
Avoid smoking.....
Avoid reexposure to such chemical again...
Avoid spicy and fried food in excess for few days....
Soft and bland diet taken....

Try to keep environmental pollutants and dust exposure to minimum.....

You will recover in few days....

Take care.....

If chest pain and other symptoms occur then x ray definitely done for further work up.
