Hello and welcome to HCM,
Antibiotic therapy is associated with problem of acidity.
Addition of
proton pump inhibitor, PPI (i.e.
razo) helps to control acidity caused by regurgitation of stomach contents into the
esophagus.
PPIs are more effective if taken empty stomach before breakfast.
Are you still taking the antibiotics?
If no then these symptoms should have disaapeared by now.
In that case, watch out for other factors that can cause regurgitation e.g. taking spicy and fatty foods.
Watch out for your weight.
Excessive weight is another cause of regurgitation.
In no risk factor can be identified, you need to
consult a gastroenterologist for upper gastrointestinal
endoscopy to look for any growth or change in the stomach lining.
The stomach lining can be sampled to examine it microscopically.
Thanks and take care
