While cleaning the sink, a drop of harpic, I.e., toilet cleaner splashed into my mum's eye, although there is no pain but after all it is an acid, that's why we are really worried and some part of eye also got red.So please do suggest me what should I do now

Hello,
Harpic is a toilet cleaning agent and it is usually acidic in nature. If it accidently falls into the eyes, the first thing to be done is thorough wash of the eyes to remove any of the remnant material.
If it only splash without any direct fall it may not cause much problems, however I advice treatment by antibiotic eye drops and artificial tear eye drops Since sometimes fall of acid into the eyes can cause damage to the cornea it is better to get eye examined by eye doctor to rule out any serious injury.

Thank you
