That's a perfectly normal and healthy variant. Optimal BP is <120/80. BP below this is completely normal too and you are at a significantly lower stroke
risk. Like the first poster, many people make the mistake of thinking BP below 120 is 'too low'. It isn't. I'm really not sure some people understand what blood pressure actually is and what it means!
Lower than average BP only becomes a problem when its so low that its unable to push blood around the body. BP would have to be a lot lower than 108/62 for it to cause a problem.
Hypotension isn't even defined until BP is <90/60
I didn't see the bit about you feeling dizzy upon standing. This could be postural hypotension
. Make sure you stand slowly and keep hydrated. See your GP and he will run various tests, diabetes
and addisions disease can cause this. Your GP will want to rule these things out.
