What Should Be Done To Regulate My Periods ?

I stopped taking my birth control and I don't have periods I m 18 years old and always had irregular periods, infact they got so bad that I would be on my period for weeks straight on a heavy flow and then I became anemic , and had to take birth control to regulate my cycle and iron pills , because I lost a lot of iron during that time. However once on the birth control pills I was having periods every month, and my bowel movements would become irregular, I didn t like getting my period so often and I stopped taking them and my iron pills. And now I haven t been having any periods, I can t remember when I last had my period, what I can say is I haven t had a period since the new year, and I want to now is something wrong with my ovaries. I am a virgin so I not pregnant .

Hello.
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic forum.
Either you are having polycystic ovaries or your thyroid hormone levels are too low.You need to go for an ultrasound scan and blood thyroid hormone levels to diagnose your problem and then you need to have a regular treatment accordingly.
