Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Ponstan is not a completely safe drug for kids. Symptoms following acute overdoses are usually limited to lethargy, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, and epigastric pain, which are generally reversible with supportive care.

So, in case she shows any of the above, then take her to the pediatrician for proper clinical evaluation and treatment. In the mean while, give her plenty of fluids to keep her well hydrated.

Hopefully this will be of help. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Archana Verma
