What Should Be Done After Being Bitten By A Vaccinated Dog?

My dog just got anti rabies shot last sunday. Then my boyfriend was playing with our dog the next day after the vaccine and was accidentally bitten. Does he still need anti rabies shot? Our vet said that we don't need to just only anti tetanus. But last summer he already got the anti tetanus shot because he was bitten by a rat. Does the anti tetanus shot still effective until this day? And there was one scenario that my dog was outside and was barking angrily anf when we went out to look there was a cat. This happened before the anti rabies shot was given.

Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM,
I have gone through your query, your friend has to go to docter and get anti rabies vaccination done, and as you said that he has anti tetanus injections last summer so it lasts for six months if your anti tetanus 6months is gone then he should go for anti tetanus injection also.
Wish you good health
Hope this will help you.
