What Should Be Done After A Minor Head Injury?

Hello,
The other day (Saturday) a semi heavy glass serving platter fell from a shelf and hit me on the right side of my head. Initially I had a hug bump but now its just very sensitive, hurts like a bad bruise and I feel pain in my head 3 days later. Should I go to the Dr? I didn't pass out or vomit, but the next day I had trouble remembering what I did on Friday. Strange.... please help! I don't have insurance.

Hello
The bump is what's called a hematoma--a collection of blood under the skin.

Sounds like you had a mild concussion but there's always a chance of a skull fracture with this type of injury so I have to suggest you get checked out by a doctor
