What Should Be Done After A Head Injury?

Hello! I'm a 24 year old female in fairly good health. I fell and hit my head 5 days ago. I developed a large bump, but haven't had any headaches or anything. My eye has slowly turned black. However, the other day I noticed when I touched/pressed my temple there is a sensation in that area. If I touch it in one spot, I can feel it in another. I don't know if it's due to the fluid that still may need to drain. Don't really know how to describe it. Is this something I should get checked out?

Neurologist 's  Response
If you're not having any symptoms of a traumatic brain injury such as dizziness, nausea, imbalance, or confusion/unusual lethargy then, the brain didn't get damaged. If you had or have any of those symptoms I recommend a checkup with a neurologist to document what happened. As far as the black eye I would be able to tell you more if you'd upload an image of what you've got. You can upload your photograph to bit.ly/drdariushsaghafi
