my husband has had fresh blood coming from his left ear all day he takes warfarin doctor asked him last week if he had been loosing blood and he said no he thinks he needs more iron as the tests he done last week also show his kidneys are not right he does eat proparly does not drink at all he is 67 also a diabetic has asthma and heart disease and copd
Hi, From history it seems that there might be having some soreness or scratches in the ears producing bleeding from the wound. there can be two reasons having bleeding from this site, 1, taking blood thinner medicine like warfearin, 2, might be having high blood pressure. You might require INR for PT as while on Warfarrin it is a must to see bleeding tendency. Go for blood pressure checking regularly. Consult your treating doctor and ask about this. Ok and take care.
