What Reduces The Redness In Eyes?

I've been sick for possibly a week or so and when I wasn't experiencing a bad cough and stuffy nose, one eye would be really red. And since then one or the other eye has been red everyday. My eye isn't irritating me but they're just red and the redness won't go away. I don't know what to do to make the redness go away and I'm wondering if there is something, other than eye drops, which temporarily fix my problem, that can take the redness out of my eyes.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having cough, running nose associated with redness of the eyes.
Cough, running nose are because of respiratory tract infection and redness of eyes is because of either reflex hyperemia of the conjunctiva or because of infection of the conjunctiva called as conjunctivitis.
Hence you can use decongestant eye drops and antibiotic eye drops.

Thank you
