My name is Mounika. I have a eardrum hole problem. I consulted a doctor. She told me that "the myringoplasty surgery needs to be done for it". I'm planning to go for surgery in mid of january. Before that, to get rid from pain what precautions I need to take. Thanks in advance.

Hi, you have a ear drum hole. If there is ear infection then only ther will be pain if not there is no pain. If pain persist please contact your doctor
Precaution.... keep your ear dry. See to it that water doesnt enter your ear while having bath. Dont use ear bud to clean your ear as it can cause infection.
Stay away from catching cold. If you get cold or stuffy nose tgen your ear may again get infectd and become wet.
