General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
HI, I understand your concern. Routinely In pregnancy with vesicular mole, evacuation of uterus with suction/ blunt currette is done, This is followed by follow up of the patient by regular HCG estimation , till it disappears from blood. This is done at least for 6-12 months. In case of increasing levels of HCG, Dr will examine her carefully, perform certain tests for excluding/ diagnosing Choriocarcinoma. Which ususally resolves by Chemotherapy/ some times when patient has done with children, removal of uterus is advised according to patient's health & investigation reports. Thanks. Thanks. Y
