General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello
thank you for asking the question.
early diabetes stage with family history of diabetes has to take many cares to convert it to diabetes mellitus.
first of all take diet with food with low glycaemic index so your sugar level will not rise very fast. take frequent small meal so body can digest whatever glucose taken. avoid sweeting agent which contains very high level of sucrose.
take more amount of dietary fibre which reduces glucose absorption.
take care of your feet to prevent any injury. measure glycated Hb to make it within control
do a regular exercise also helpful in digestion of sugar/.
hope this will helpful to you.
