What Precautions Needs To Be Taken To Avoid Contracting Chicken Pox?

Hi my name is Olivia, I am wondering what the chances of me contracing chicken pox are as i came in contact the other night to a family friend who had it without knowing, i am very itchy but have no other symptoms, no bumps or anything. Is there anything else than can explain the itching? i have not changed anything i use or eat.

Thanks.

Hi..the best say now (as you have already come into contact with a case of chickenpox) is to take the chickenpox vaccine as if it is taken within 3 days of coming into contact with a case will definitely reduce the chances but cannot be completely ruled out.
Chickenpox usually starts with fever and then rash - itching may not be related to this as of now.
No relation to food.
