What Precautions Needs To Be Taken After An Embryo Transfer?

I had an embryo transfer today. Four of ten were transfered and this is my sevond IVF cycle. The first failed as that team was not a good fit; however, what precautions should I take tonight onto the weeks end in order to be successful this time around?

After undergoing embryo transfer as part of IVF technique, you need to take proper safety measures so that it increases the chances of IVF becoming successful.
The following safety precautions needs to be met:
1. Avoid vigorous activities which involves forceful bodily movements like aerobics, heavy workout, lifting heavy weights and exercises.
2. Keep away from smoking and avoid intake of caffeine.
3. Avoid indulging yourself in a sexual intercourse or sexual activities.
4. Avoid consuming alcohol or alcoholic products and drinks.
5. Do not take sunbaths and avoid swimming.
6. Avoid consuming any other drugs or medication other than what has been prescribed.
Once you undergo IVF it is very necessary to follow your doctor's advice promptly.
If your doctor advices to take bed rest for few days as a part of your safety measures, kindly do so.
Along with above safety precautions you also need to leave all your worries behind. Have a positive attitude and encourage yourself to think positively about the pregnancy issues.
Eat healthy diet, consume good quantity of fluids and keep yourself healthy and fit free from stress.
